It is a hybrid cloud solution that employs the software's real-time intelligent video analytics on the camera stream source side. The solution comprises a cloud server and a local application that can be installed on a phone, personal computer, or cloud camera. Free programs like RTSP camera and motion detection apps can be used to turn a smartphone into a high-quality surveillance camera. Local desktop software like SmartVision and cloud services like Video Surveillance Cloud provide additional options for accessing and storing footage. Storing events on a cloud service ensures that the footage is accessible from anywhere and allows for real-time monitoring, enabling the user to take immediate action in case of any suspicious activity. This transforms the system from simply recording events to actively responding to them, thus enhancing the overall security of the home.

If a security personnel is responsible for observing hundreds of cameras, and there is frequent movement within the frame, intelligent detection becomes vital.
